Applications are now open for the UK’s Young Design Entrepreneur award 2009 (UKYDE09).

They are seeking the brightest young business talents working in the design industry including architecture, product and furniture design, exhibitions, events and consultants. Individuals needn’t run their own business as long as they can demonstrate their entrepreneurialism within an organisation and applications are welcome from those successful social or not‑for‑profit enterprises in this sector.

Those selected for interview will have the chance of exhibiting an example of their work at 100% design, london and up to six finalists will have the opportunity to undertake a ten day tour of the design industry in Turkey in November.
