DESIGN TRAIN 2011
DESIGN TRAIN-INTENSIVE DESIGN SALES WORKSHOP-24th MARCH 2011
How do you communicate the value of your design services to your clients?
How do you increase the value of a contract and build lasting relationships with your customers?
And how do you get affordable training on your doorstep?
This intensive one-day workshop in Bristol offers Designers, Account Managers and Creative Directors an opportunity to develop their skills so that they can communicate more effectively with their clients, increase their sales and develop their businesses.
Delivered by Emma Collins and Mel Norman, both leading experts in Creative business development, this workshop is supported by the Creative Industries iNET (Innovation Network), the Design Council and the Design Programme.
The one day event, taking place at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Bristol on 24th March from 8.30am until 8.30pm, will include an opportunity to hear from leading design companies and buyers of design services, and it will incorporate a special dinner followed by a chance to hear from Colin Burns managing director of Elmwood
During the day you will learn:
How to help clients understand why design works
How to communicate the value of design
How to capture and use your results and success stories
How the sales process works
What key questions you should be asking your clients in order to increase the likelihood of a sale
How to answer client objections
And you will better understand:
How other companies approach the business and art of selling
The client’s perspective – their needs and the commercial imperatives
This is an unmissable event for Account Managers, Creative Directors and owner/managers of design businesses.
