SUMMARY:WRITING CREATIVE MARKETING COPY
DESCRIPTION:Marketing copy is a crucial part of your business communications. The copy you write needs to speak on your behalf and represent you, your company, your service or your product. To achieve your goals, it has to be informative, well-constructed and persuasive. Whether you’re writing brochures, flyers, sales emails, advertisements, direct marketing mailouts or radio spots, your copy should have a personality that reflects your brand and its values. Achieving a distinctive and attractive tone of voice is the main focus of this course.

Writing for the Web is different. Web users have notoriously short attention spans, so you need to know how to engage them immediately, give them the information they need and get your key business messages across as quickly and memorably as possible. Your tutor will show you how to write focused, user-friendly Web content through a series of creative yet practical exercises. As well as learning how to adapt text written for print publications so that it works on the Web, you’ll also find out how to optimise your content for search engines and improve your position in search results.

What you will need to bring: an example of current marketing and promotional copy (flyer, leaflet, brochure, etc)

Tutor: Piers Alder

Cost: £180 per person
